Friends of George Street Reserve

The Friends of Bayside groups, operate across chosen areas within the municipality. These groups are supported by a Supervisor from the Open Space Service Provider, who attends and supervises the Group’s on-site activities, in accordance with an Annual Action Plan. An annual working bee calendar is set at the beginning of each year and members can choose to volunteer at any of the listed reserve sites.

Friends of George Street Reserve
Revegetation of indigenous trees, shrubs and wildflowers, weeding, litter removal, control burns, interpretive walks, studies of fauna and flora. Members learn seed collection and plant identification.

Working bee- Third Sunday of every month, 10:00am – 12:00pm
