Gardens for Wildlife
Gardens for Wildlife is a program designed to encourage Bayside residents to create habitat in their gardens and open spaces to support local wildlife.
Volunteering for this program includes:
- assisting with the maintenance of the Gardens for Wildlife display garden and nature strip on the corner of Reserve Rd/Talinga Rd, Cheltenham. Friday mornings 8:00am - 10:00am
- assisting on the Gardens for Wildlife stand within the Gardens for Wildlife Hub at Bayside Community Nursery, 315-317 Reserve Rd, Cheltenham. First Saturday of every month during open season (April-October), 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.
- supported garden assessments at schools, kindergartens and local businesses.
