This is a hands-on volunteer position within the Patient Support Program.  Volunteers will be responsible for assisting staff in the Physiotherapy, Recreational Therapy  as clients are assessed and treated within these programs.  Expectations of the Volunteer include providing information, direction, greeting patients and families to the department and assisting with appropriate sanitizing of equipment and spaces under the direction of the department staff.  Volunteers will serve as a liaison between the patient, their families and staff by interacting with individual patients while supporting the needs of the Department.  This is an especially desirable position for those interested in going into the field of Rehabilitation.
