Gardening Volunteer
To undertake basic gardening duties in order to maintain courtyards and other garden areas on the hospital site as required.
The gardens are so important at GWH to help patients through wellbeing in nature, providing them a nice space to sit outside, take a walk or enjoy nice sights outside their window if they cannot leave their room.
Our NHS staff often work in highly stressful situations, and so having nice gardens and nice grounds to get out into benefit staff wellbeing hugely as well.
