We are extending the support we offer to the Pharmacy Department and are looking for Volunteers to help support this service as a Pharmacy Runner. 

As a Trust we want to do everything we can to support with patient flow in the Hospital and currently one of the biggest delays for patients being discharged is waiting for medication.

With that in mind we have created a new role which involves Volunteers going to pharmacy to collect sealed medicines bagged for various wards across the hospital, delivering them to the wards then back to pharmacy to collect and deliver again and continue operating on a loop in this manner for the duration of the shift.

Shifts can be broken into 13:00 - 15:00 or 15:00 - 17:00, or you can do the whole 4 hours. 

You would need to be quite physically fit for this role.
