Winter Games NZ

The Winter Games NZ 2018 is on from 24 August- 8 September 2018 on the mountains around Wanaka and Queenstown. Please have a look at this link- WGNZ 2018l Sports Programme so you can plan what and when you'd like to help with or for more information head to the website here

Please note- 
All roles for Queenstown based volunteers are Monday- Thursday at Coronet Peak and you need to be intermediate skier or above. (no weekend or non ski roles for Queenstown based volunteer unless you are happy to drive to Cardrona or Snow Farm on weekdays)
All roles for Cardrona are full on weekends
If you are allocated a role that requires a ski pass and you don't have one, we will provide you with a day pass.  
Please ensure you have your own ski/ board gear as we don't have any rental deals.
Non-skiing roles are all at the Snow Farm, transport only provided from Wanaka
There are unfortunately no events for Queenstown based volunteers on weekends.
We will provide transport from Wanaka to Cardrona and Wanaka to Snow Farm

Audi quattro Winter Games NZ will strive to:

- Provide a clear role description and contact person
- Provide necessary induction or training to enable you to fulfil your role - Provide a safe working environment
- Acknowledge and provide recognition to all volunteers
- Enable you to withdraw or say no without guilt

- Are reliable and advise us of any change of availability
- Seek support if you’re feeling out of your depth or struggling with the commitment required
- Strive to maintain and enhance the events reputation within the community
- Respect the operational guidelines of the event organisers
- Participate in any induction or training required for your role
- Report hazards, incidents, accidents or any safety concerns you have to your immediate Manager or the Volunteer Manager
