Urban Pole Walking Group Volunteer

Goal of the Position

To support Abbotsford members in staying active and socially connected through guided outdoor pole walking sessions.

Position Responsibilities

• Lead or co-lead groups of older adults in safe urban pole walking sessions.

• Ensure participants are welcomed and included, fostering a supportive group atmosphere.

• Promote safe walking practices and encourage participants to walk at their own pace.

• Assist staff with monitoring the group and reporting any issues or concerns.
