Event/Program Assistant - BUG DAY at Idaho Botanical Gardens

Join us at Idaho Botanical Gardens for Bug Day. Saturday,September 16.

Two shifts available. 

Shift 1 - 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Shift 2 - 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. 

The WaterShed will be staffing an aquatic macroinvertebrate station at the annual Idaho Botanical Gardens Bug Day event!  This event draws thousands of families from around the valley.  We will have live organisms in water at our table for kids to investigate with tools and magnifying glasses.  You’ll assist with identifying bugs and sharing info about  WaterShed and its programs.  No experience necessary, just a desire to learn.

 

Qualifications Required

  • Boise WaterShed Orientation Must be at least Attended Orientation
  • Volunteer Handbook Review Must be Complete
  • Volunteer Waiver Must be Complete
