Ecological Restoration Events - Siddoo Regional Park Family Planting Day
Please join the Quw’utsun’ Cultural Connections Society, CVRD Parks & Trails, the Cowichan Community Land Trust and the Nanaimo Area Land Trust for a Family Planting and Invasive Species Removal Day at Siddoo Regional Park in Electoral Area B. The event will run from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 8, 2026.
The event will begin with a sharing circle, words from Elders and lunch and move into planting native species and removing invasive plants.
Siddoo Regional Park is located at 4051 Renfrew Rd (approximately 5km, or 10 minutes driving, past Burnt Bridge in Koksilah River Provincial Park). Please try to park at Koksilah River Provincial Park and carpool to Siddoo Regional Park as parking is very limited. map
