Business Coworking Space - Support Person

Looking for volunteers to support patrons in our new small business coworking space at Penrose Library.  This would include instructing others on how to make appointments with the business librarian, assisting with copier, fax, and scanner, and answering general questions.  You would need to be comfortable interacting with a variety of patrons, operating various office machines, learning new technology, and communicating with library staff. 

Time commitment:  At least one on shift per week.  (Shifts are available Monday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.)

MATH TUTOR FOR GRADES K-12 - Library 21c and Monument Library

Do you enjoy math and want to share that love with students who would like additional help?  Become a tutor for our Math Tutor program at Library 21c or Monument Library.  This program begins September 21, 2022, and is held each Wednesday from 3:30 - 6:30 p.m. throughout the school year.  (With slight variations due to holidays and school schedules.)  All levels of math proficiency are needed.  You do not have to be an expert but should enjoy interacting with children and teens and have patience for this type of setting.

Dungeon Master for EAST LIBRARY Teen Group D&D

So You Want to be a Dungeon Master?

Now is your chance!  PPLD offers a Dungeons and Dragons program for teens and is looking for adults 21+ to create adventure and narrate the stories and moderate for D&D groups.  We are accepting applications now for programs at the East Library Only.

You will definitely need to be an experienced player, with a solid understanding of the DM role.  Most importantly, you should ENJOY the game.  If you are having fun, the group is having fun as well.

Plan to spend 1-2 hours a week prepping for the program, which meets weekly for 2-2.5 hours.


PPLD provides hundreds of Take and Make kits to children and adults each  month!  This volunteer will help with the process of putting all the materials needed for each craft into individual bags.  All supplies and instructions are provided, we just need you and your time!

When:  flexible schedule - 2-3 hours once a week, M-F between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Paws to Read Specialist- Cheyenne Mt., Fountain, Ruth Holley and Ute Pass Libraries

Looking for gentle and patient therapy dogs (and their human) who love listening to stories and being read to by children. 

Join our Paws to Read team and give children a chance to practice budding literacy skills.  Therapy certification documents will be requested from all applicants.

Positions are available at Cheyenne Mountain, Fountain, Manitou, Ruth Holley, and Ute Pass Libraries. Please indicate your preference on the application.
