Communications
The function of FORT communications are to:
- Use a variety of communications tools (website, social media, media releases, etc.), targeted to specific audience (mainly trail users, donors and funders) to achieve specific objectives (e.g. to recruit volunteers, motivate donations, encourage desirable trail user behaviour)
- Plan and coordinate communications to support all society functions (Projects, Fundraising, and Trail Volunteers) and coordinate with owner jurisdictions.
- Ensure that communications support, reinforce and build upon the ORT Brand and FORT’s brand.
Skill sets: Experience and interest in communications planning, writing, and telling stories with pictures and videos. Familiarity with social media platforms, Word Press web content management, story-telling.
