The Salvation Army - Milwaukee County

On March 2, 2020 we opened our new Food Pantry to qualified community members. The Pantry is located at The Salvation Army's Distribution Center, 5880 North 60th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53218.

We had to change our operations to outdoor distribution during the past 2 years and we are pleased to announce that beginning on May 2, 2022, we will be reopening to the public for indoor distribution.

We are requesting help from our Volunteers in the following areas:

Shoppers and Stocker. All volunteers will have to agree to a background check (this is no cost to you) before being scheduled for an activity with the food pantry. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age, be able to stand on concrete floors and lift up to 30lbs. Please wear comfortable shoes.

Most importantly, prior to volunteering for this activity a background check and Safe from Harm training must be completed.  To inquire about volunteering and submitting the necessary documentation please call Donna - Food Pantry Coordinator at 414-464-2940.
