Rescue Ranger Transport
Provide safe transport for HSPPR animals to and from different facilities around Colorado and sometimes out of state.
This is the position for you if you:
Are 21 years of age and have a clean driving record to drive HSPPR vehicles, per our insurance company.
Have a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
Are a good driver who enjoys road trips.
Are looking for a flexible schedule.
Can lift moderate loads.
Safely transport animals to or from a designated place. Drive carefully and courteously, as you will be driving with animals in a vehicle identified with the HSPPR name and logo.
Transporting animals is a tremendous service to the HSPPR staff and animals. You will be part of helping animals find their new home faster than it may be possible at their former shelter.
Attend a Volunteer Orientation, and a Safe Animal Handling Class before handling animals.
Attend Job specific training with the Transfer program Manager or an experienced Rescue Ranger Volunteer.
