O - Health Policy and Advocacy - Capitol Gang Member
ANNA members who reside in the greater Washington, DC metropolitan area to help support ANNA's health policy and advocacy efforts in the nation's capitol and serve as a local resource for ANNA's government relations representatives at Drinker Biddle and Reath. Activities in which the Capitol Gang are enlisted include: accompanying the ANNA government relations representatives on meetings with members of Congress and their staff, attending federal agency meetings with the government relations representatives, reviewing and providing input on draft legislation, representing ANNA at press conferences or other public meetings, and other advocacy activities. Whenever Capitol Gang members are solicited for involvement, they are provided with all the information and support they need to be effective advocates.
