A - Elected Office - National - President-Elect
Serves a 3 years elected term; 1 year - President-elect; 1 year - President; 1 year - Immediate Past President. As President, serves as Chief Elected Officer of ANNA and Chairperson of the Board of Directors. (See ANNA website for detail about qualifications/requirements and role description, including time commitments and meeting expectations) Must have a minimum of a baccalaureate or advanced degree in nursing and have 2 years experience within the last 5 years of active, effective leadership experience in ANNA. Candidates for the National Board of Directors without a baccalaureate or advanced degree in nursing will be considered for an exemption if they meet specific criteria. Current certification in nephrology nursing and 1 year experience in an "executive" position in ANNA.
