D - Committee Chairs - Awards and Scholarship Committee Chairperson
Appointed by the President-Elect with Board approval for a 2 year term, the first year serving as designate. Coordinates the preparation, recommendation, approval, and awarding of the annual ANNA and corporate awards, scholarships, and grants and promotes the process for such awards, scholarships, and grants. (See ANNA website for detail about qualifications/requirements and role description, including time commitments and meeting expectations) Full member of ANNA with nephrology experience. Knowledge of ANNA organizational structure and understands the need to maintain confidentiality; knowledge of software and access to computer facilitated communication for E-mail and word processing.
