G - Specialty Practice Network Team Leaders - SPN Team Leader/Publication - Hemodialysis

Appointed by the SPN Facilitator with input from the current SPN Team Leaders and SPN members. Serves two years beginning at the close of the annual National Symposium; may serve 1 additional two year term. Submits SPN articles for the ANNA Update per established schedule; solicits participation from the SPN membership to write articles or manuscripts [at least one (1) annually] for Nephrology Nursing Journal (NNJ) and/or other ANNA publications regarding the specialty practice; coordinates review and publication of articles, documents, abstracts, etc.; requests a liaison or mentor be appointed from NNJ for assistance as needed. (See ANNA website for detail about qualifications/requirements and role description, including time commitments and meeting expectations) Full member of ANNA for 3 years. Active nephrology nurse for at least 3 years in the specialty area. Current certification in nephrology nursing preferred; active SPN participation for at least 2 years preferred. Demonstrates customer service skills and willingness/ability to acquire new knowledge; proven track record of career development. Knowledge of software and access to computer facilitated communication for E-mail and word processing.
