G - Specialty Practice Network Team Leaders - SPN Team Leader/Education - Administration

Appointed by the SPN Facilitator with input from the current SPN Team Leaders and SPN members. Serves two years beginning at the close of the annual National Symposium; may serve 1 additional two year term. AdHoc member of the Conference Planning Committee responsible for providing input concerning needs of the specialty practice for planning the National Symposium, Fall Meeting, webinars, etc.; identifies two emerging issues in their areas of practice, recruits or recommends speakers for that topic, and communicates these to the Conference Planning Committee; obtains input from SPN Team Members regarding education needs of the specialty, recommendations for speakers, emerging issues, etc.; solicits members with appropriate expertise to develop education programs for ANNA related to the specialty practice as needed. (See ANNA website for detail about qualifications/requirements and role description, including time commitments and meeting expectations) Full member of ANNA for 3 years. Active nephrology nurse for at least 3 years in the specialty area. Current certification in nephrology nursing preferred; active SPN participation for at least 2 years preferred. Demonstrates customer service skills and willingness/ability to acquire new knowledge; proven track record of career development. Knowledge of software and access to computer facilitated communication for E-mail and word processing.
