C - Elected Office - Chapter - Chapter Health Policy Representative
Serves a 1 year term elected by local chapter members or appointed by Chapter President, as specified in Chapter By-laws. Monitors legislative and regulatory activity impacting nursing practice and nephrology nursing; promotes the membership's understanding of health policy issues. (See ANNA website for detail about qualifications/requirements and role description, including time commitments and meeting expectations) Full ANNA membership required. Must be active in the chapter and have an interest in legislative process and health policy issues; one year experience in nephrology nursing; membership in ANA and/or State Nurses association preferred.
