H - Technical Expert - Technical Expert - Federal Legislative Issues
Appointed by the President or designee as needed for an indefinite period of time to provide technical expertise, representation, testimony, review and response relating to federal issues such as funding/appropriations for nursing and other healthcare providers or federal legislation involving the care of patient with CKD. Subject to 10 Steps to Selection and Preparation of an ANNA representative. Demonstration of excellent public speaking and written communication skills essential. Would require, in some situations, the ability to respond on short notice. Requirements for technical expertise would be matched with volunteer's disclosure of proficiency in knowledge base.
