E - Specialty Practice Network Leaders - Specialty Practice Network Facilitator - Advanced Practice
Appointed by the President-Elect, with input from the current SPN Facilitator and Team leaders, and approval by the BOD. Approval for a 2 year term beginning at the close of the annual National Symposium, with the option to serve one additional 2 year term. Oversees SPN activities, coordinates the agenda for the year, and is accountable for the overall work of the SPN. Ensures work of the SPN including manuscript publication, contribution of speakers and topics for National Symposium, and development and maintenance of the best practice resources on the ANNA Web site, is completed. (See ANNA website for detail about qualifications/requirements and role description, including time commitments and meeting expectations) Full member of ANNA for 3 years; Active nephrology nurse for at least 3 years in the specialty area. Current certification in nephrology nursing preferred. Prior SPN Team Leader experience or active SIG/SPN participation for at least 2 years preferred. Knowledge of software and access to computer facilitated communication for E-mail and word processing.
