Virtual Volunteering - Teen Programming Volunteer (Virtual)

The Library needs 2-3 months of advance time to plan, schedule, and promote any approved programs. All volunteer applicants must complete our volunteer process.

This position is for teens (ages 15-18)  who either lead a library program(s) or assist with a library program(s) that can help others achieve academic success. That would include math, coding, robotics, debate, art, or any other subject. Please do not submit an application or sign up for this position unless informed to do so by Jessica Chung at the West Valley Branch Library. To submit a virtual program proposal for consideration, please email Jessica at jessica.chung(at)sjlibrary.org.

Completing an online virtual volunteer orientation is required. For any teen volunteer applicants who are 18 years old or turn 18 while volunteering, completing a fingerprint background check by the Library will also be required at no cost to you. Thank you.
