Are you ready to be a holiday hero and create some serious Christmas magic?

We’re looking for volunteers to join our annual Toyland Distribution. This event aims to bring joy to children and families in need by ensuring every child gets to celebrate the holiday season with Christmas gifts.

As a volunteer, you may be asked to:

• Help unload, sort, and organize toys by age and category.

• Greet families and guide them through picking out the perfect gifts for their children.

• Manage crowd flow, answer questions, and keep the atmosphere friendly and festive.

• Track toy distribution, restock as needed, and keep everything running smoothly.

• Assist with packing up remaining toys and tidying the space at the end of the day. The ideal volunteer:

• Is 16 years or older. Youth volunteers aged 16-17 may volunteer without a guardian present if a permission form is on file.

• Brings a friendly, welcoming attitude, and a whole lot of patience with families. • Has strong organizational skills and can follow directions with a smile.

• Is comfortable lifting boxes (up to 20lbs).

• Thrives in a busy, fast-paced, feel-good environment full of holiday cheer.

We need energetic and friendly helpers to guide parents and guardians through the toy shop at The Salvation Army North Corps (2401 Manderson St, Omaha, NE, 68111).
