Overview: Come join us in our community care kitchen if you love food and people!

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, cooking, and assembling meals.

• Serve meals to program participants in a respectful and friendly manner.

• Help with setup, cleanup, and maintaining cleanliness in dining and kitchen areas.

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.

• Engage with participants to create a warm and welcoming environment.

• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.

• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies.

• Collaborate with volunteers and staff to ensure smooth program operations.

Qualifications:

• Passion for helping others and making a difference in the community.

• Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

• Reliability and punctuality.

• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting.

• Volunteers must be 16 years or older (under 18 requires guardian consent).
