Lexington Neighbor Brigade
Welcome to the Lexington chapter of Neighbor Brigade! Our chapter was formed in March 2012. Whether you are seeking assistance or looking to provide help to another, you’ve come to the right place. Our volunteer chapter leaders donate time to coordinate the needs of families in crisis with the volunteers who want to help. Read on to learn more about their passion for Neighbor Brigade, and help us spread the word! We are always looking to expand our presence here in Lexington among volunteers and potential recipients alike.
Neighbor Brigade establishes community-specific networks of volunteers that can be mobilized to help residents facing sudden crisis manage day-to-day tasks such as meal preparation, rides, and basic household chores. Our chapter is just one of 29 chapters helping their neighbors in crisis! To learn more about us and our other chapters, please visit our home page here.

Kathy grew up in Arlington and has lived in Lexington since 2005 with her husband, Stephen, a Lexingtonian, and their two teens. With a master’s degree in social work from Columbia University, Kathy’s background and passion has been working with new mothers and their families, from the start of the birthing experience, through the post partum phase, connecting women and their families to the many resources available to ease the process of new parenthood. She also thrives on the joy of connecting people, in every phase of life, to the right resources through her work at hospitals and libraries, and especially neighbor to neighbor in their own town.
Ragini is a Lexington resident and lives here with her husband, two boys and a cavachon puppy. She heads up Product Management for a Lexington company called Cartera Commerce. She enjoys cooking for friends and family and volunteering for Neighbor Brigade has been a satisfying experience for her and her children. As the chapter leader she will focus on helping with day to day tasks and use social channels to get the word out about Lexington Neighbor Brigade in the community.
