Join us this Christmas season to Ring Bells and Help Change Lives. Your gift of time matters to so many families in our community right now. Spend two hours ringing a bell at one of your community kettles. Bring a friend, a group, a family member, and make a memory to last a lifetime. The time you give today could go to help someone you love tomorrow.
“Want to keep Christ in Christmas? Feed the hungry, clothe the naked, forgive the guilty, welcome the unwanted, care for the ill, love your enemies, and do unto others as you would have done unto you.”― Steve Maraboli
There are many ways you can become involved in serving the community through emergency disaster services. No effective disaster relief operation can operate without the efforts of many volunteers with a diverse range of experience and training. Some people are content to hand out a cup of cold water to a thirsty stranger. Other people seek training at the highest level possible to serve in specialized areas of service. To find out how to become involved in disaster services in your area, call Lydia at 810.600.4497.
Share your Christmas Spirit and help a parent or guardian shop for Christmas gifts for their child/children. Volunteers will guide the parent/guardian through our gymnasium-sized Toy Shop. In addition to acting as greeter and guide, volunteers will carry gifts as they are chosen and will walk clients through the check-out process.
