COBS Doughnation Day Volunteer - Sunfish Plaza
KidsAbility is thrilled to partner once again with COBS Bread for Doughnation Day - and we’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to help make the day a success!
On Saturday, March 7, COBS Bread will donate $2 from every pack of hot cross buns sold to KidsAbility. Our volunteers play an important role in helping spread the word and thanking customers for their support.
When We Need Volunteers
We’re looking for volunteers to support 2‑hour shifts between 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM:
- 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Volunteer Locations
- COBS Bread - The Boardwalk, 245 The Boardwalk #6, Waterloo
- COBS Bread - Fairway Road, 10 Manitou Dr, Kitchener
- COBS Bread - Blackstone Condo, 255 Northfield Dr E a105, Waterloo
- COBS Bread - Sunfish Plaza, 1270 Fischer-Hallman Rd Unit #D3, Kitchener
Volunteer Role
As a KidsAbility ambassador, you will:
- Stand inside the bakery near the till area
- Warmly thank customers for purchasing hot cross buns that support KidsAbility
- Briefly share the promotion with customers who may not be aware:
- “Today only, $2 from every pack of hot cross buns is donated to KidsAbility!”
This role is perfect for volunteers who enjoy interacting with the public and representing KidsAbility in a positive, welcoming way.
