Thank you for your interest in volunteering and/or interning with us! We are excited to meet you and find a fit for you in our program. Volunteers and interns help us provide vital life-saving services to our clients and community. 

 

Due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, YWCA's volunteer programs are suspended until further notice. If you have any questions, please contact Jesse Bohlin, Volunteer and Community Resource Coordinator, at 253.272.4181 ext 246 or email jbohlin@ywcapiercecounty.org.

If interested in volunteering in the future, please fill out the application form and we will contact you when we have openings. 

 

Qualifications to consider:

  • We cannot accommodate Court Ordered Community Service at this time.
  • All volunteers and interns must pass a background check.
  • Volunteers in client facing roles must be 16 years of age or older. Any volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • If you have been a client of the YWCA Pierce County, we would love to have you volunteer with us two years after your last date of services received. 
  • Due to the high volume of volunteer inquires we receive we will not be responding to requests we cannot accommodate.
