Woodland Management Volunteer
Role Overview:
Working with the Forest of Burnley volunteers, park rangers and Offshoots to help manage woodland areas in Burnley and Padiham. You will also help with organising events such as the Heritage and Woodland Festival. This is a great opportunity to learn new skills and enjoy working with like-minded people in your local woodlands.
The Role includes the following opportunities:
- General woodland management
- Tree coppicing and thinning
- Hedge laying
- Tree planting
- Bulb and wildflower planting
- Invasive weed control
- Bird and bat box making and positioning

- Enjoy working outside
