Volunteer in Parks

Role Overview:

Working with volunteers within Ightenhill Park. You will work with the well established volunteer team, the green activities coordinator, and the Padiham Gardeners to beautify the park and undertake general park maintenance to assist the volunteers. This is a great opportunity to learn new skills and enjoy working with like-minded people in your local parks. 

The Role includes the following opportunities:

• General woodland management
• Litter Picking
• Bulb and wildflower planting
• Invasive weed control
• General Park Maintenance
• Polytunnel work (plant nurseries, herb nurseries)
• Bench Repair
• Bee Keeping
