Phoenix Centre (Hobart and Launceston)

The Phoenix Centre provides individual and group therapeutic mental health and wellbeing support to people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds. 

The Centre focuses on mental health promotion, prevention, early intervention and capacity building activities. It provides specialist support to survivors of torture and other traumatic experiences and their communities. Services include counselling, group psychoeducation work, social connection programs and community development activities. 

Volunteers can support the Phoenix Centre by:

  • assisting with group activities and events
