Emergency Disaster Services - Emergency Disaster Response
Thank you for your interest in sharing your time and talents with The Salvation Army. Volunteers play a crucial role in disaster response efforts by offering basic needs to those who may have lost everything. Emergency Disaster Services Volunteers assist The Salvation Army when responding to disaster situations such as fires, floods and tornadoes. Training is required prior to assisting with disaster situations. We have opportunities in areas of food service, emotional and spiritual care, emergency communications, disaster social services, donations management and long term recovery. This position requires a background check and additional training that will be provided to you.
