The Hendricks County Medical Reserve Corps(HCMRC) provides medical and non-medical citizens a way to volunteer during large scale county or regional disasters as well as assisting in Community health programs and education throughout the year.
Amateur Radio Operations
Amateur Radio Operation. Can also receive HAM license through Hendricks County Amateur Radio Emergency Services
Community Emergency Response Team(CERT)
The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) helps to train people to better respond to emergency situations in their community. CERT members can give critical support to first responders and assist in organizing spontaneous volunteers at a disaster site. Along with other MRC members, you can be involved in non-emergency events that improve the safety of the county.
Mission Statement
The mission of the HCMRC is to recruit, train, and retain a volunteer roster of medical and non-medical professionals who are willing to contribute their skills and expertise in response to public health initiatives, community educational needs, and threats that may affect the citizens of Hendricks County.
