Corps Ministry Positions (Local Officer Positions)

The Salvation Army ministry provides endless opportunities for us to impact our world for God. All of us possess gifts, skills, and passions which prepare us to serve in our Corps, our community and His Kingdom. All local officers must be godly, loyal and devoted Salvationists. Local Officers should possess some ability for the duties they undertake, and seek continually to equip themselves for their office.

Mission Statement

The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

Salvation Army Programs are led by Salvation Army Officers. These officers are responsible to lead by assessing needs, delivering programs and directing ministries for our local community. From serving food to balancing the books, they function as the Executive Directors and the Pastors for the Manitowoc Salvation Army.
