VOLUNTEER DRIVER

As a Volunteer Driver, your role will be to provide hands-on support to our animal centres through activities such as transferring animals between animal centres to find loving families, driving animals to medical appointments, and picking up donations and supplies.

Make like-minded friends, non-furry and furry!
Ability to customize your schedule and choose your distance, i.e. short drives within
the local community (between 1 and 2 hours), and longer drives throughout the province
(between 3 and 6 hours), or multi-day or overnight drives with our NorthernTransfer
team.
POSITION REQUIRMENTS
18 years of age or older
Have a record that does not increase our insurance premiums.
A valid Full G Ontario Driver's License: A, AZ or D license would be an asset.
Experience driving a large truck with a trailer or a large van is an asset.
Comfortable driving on the 400 series highways and in isolated areas.
Animal and dog handling experience is an asset.
Ability to use an app or website to manage your volunteer experience.
