Medical Advocacy

Medical Advocacy Volunteers provide 24-hour in-person crisis response to Resilience's 17 partner hospitals, providing survivors of sexual violence with assistance navigating the medical system, emotional support, information and resources, as well as assistance with criminal justice systems.  Medical advocacy volunteers commit to signing a contract agreeing to provide 288 hours on-call in a year or less. On-call shifts are 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am. Medical advocacy volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.
