Wildlife Hospital - Animal Auxiliary

Purpose:

Animal Auxiliary Volunteers perform non-animal activities such as food preparation, cleaning, and laundry in order to provide the staff and Animal Care Volunteers with clean supplies and a clean workspace. This work contributes to the care of injured, orphaned and pollution damaged wildlife at the Wildlife Rescue Association and doesn’t require animal handling or extended knowledge about animals.


Time Requirement:

  • Volunteers are expected to work a minimum of two hours a week, for a minimum of three continuous months between April and September

 

Requirements:

  • Reliability
  • 16 years and older
  • Up-to-date Tetanus vaccination
