AgHS Volunteers

Our Court-Appointed Community Service program is for volunteers needing to complete hours assigned by a court for any reason. Aggieland Humane does not accept the following categories of charges. This is not an exhaustive list and Aggieland Humane may deny other charges.

Violent Crimes
Animal Abuse/Neglect
Drug-related (including paraphernalia)
Theft
Weapons-related
Felony charges

Volunteers will be able to view and schedule volunteer shifts after their application has been approved, and they have completed an online orientation. This process generally takes 2-4 days.

We offer volunteer shifts Monday-Friday between the hours of 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm. Saturday shifts are limited at this time. Availability of shifts depends on the number of volunteers currently in the program. Generally volunteers are able to complete 2-4 hours per day, but may be able to work more hours during some times of the year.
