Volunteering with Meals on Wheels PLUS

Role Overview:
As a Warehouse Support team member, you will be stationed in our warehouse, where you will play an essential role in the efficient operation of our meal delivery program. Your primary responsibilities will include welcoming and assisting delivery drivers as they return from their routes, collecting undelivered meals, milk, bread, and cooler bags, and ensuring that these resources are properly stored and maintained.  Please wear comfortable clothing, close-toed shoes, and consider that you will be going from outside, to inside the walk-in cooler, and back.  

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist delivery drivers upon their return to the warehouse.
Collect undelivered meals, milk, bread, and cooler bags from drivers.
Ensure that undelivered meals, milk, and bread are properly stored and organized in designated areas.
Wash and sanitize cooler bags and totes used for food deliveries.
Safely store cleaned totes in their designated storage areas.
