Volunteer Opportunity: Bunny Bash Spring Egg Hunt
The City of San Diego Parks and Recreation Department is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make our Bunny Bash: Spring Egg Hunt a fun and memorable event for local families!
Date: March 21, 2026
Time: 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Location: Carmel Valley Community Park
3777 Townsgate Drive, San Diego, CA 92130
This family-friendly event will include:
- Egg hunts for multiple age groups
- Jumpers and games
- Face painting
- Arts & crafts
- A live DJ
- Prize baskets and a magic show
Volunteer Roles May Include:

Assisting with spreading eggs
- Organizing event set-up and breakdown

Helping with litter patrol during the event
This is a great opportunity for high school and college students, community members, and families who want to give back while helping create a joyful experience for children in the community.
Volunteer hours are available for students.
