Visabel Volunteers

Visabel Volunteers are those interested in volunteering for any event with Visabel.

The team at Visabel create and coordinate a wide range of events – from conferences and exhibitions, to multi-day festivals and destination experiences, we’re there for any event at every stage.

We work in an industry where even the best laid plans can be undone – that’s why we strive to be your level-headed, friendly support team seeking solutions, consulting, and always remaining proactive.

We bring calm in a time of high energy – solving problems as they arise and keeping our eyes firmly on the big picture as we deal with the smallest details.

Chief Minister's Student Welcome

The Chief Minister’s Student Welcome is an annual event delivered by Study Canberra, an ACT Government program that works in partnership with ACT tertiary institutions to promote Canberra as a leading study destination.

The event provides a formal welcome to new tertiary students arriving in Canberra and aims to facilitate social connection, positive engagement, and access to practical settlement information. While the event is open to all new tertiary students, the primary audience is international students, the majority of whom have been in Australia for less than two months at the time of the event.

About Us

From imagination to consultation, event design and planning, to seamless event execution and evaluation – we’re the in-visabel force working behind the scenes to ensure the success of the festivals and events we produce.

We are the memory makers, the moment creators, the people you don’t see behind the scenes who make events happen for the audiences who attend them.

We begin with the end in mind.  This means, when we are producing events and festivals, we begin by imagining we are at the event and experiencing it from the point of view from the audience who is attending. What are they seeing?  How are they feeling?  Who are they with? How have they interacted with us along the way to be able to arrive at the event at that moment?

This is how we begin.  And then we work backwards to bring this vision to life.
