CENTRE SUPPORT VOLUNTEER
UNLEASH THE CLEAN!
As a Housekeeping Volunteer, your role will be to provide vital assistance in the day-to-day operations of the centre and the care of our animals. This role is perfect for those who enjoy cleaning, have good attention to detail, and are not afraid to get dirty! You will be a warrior against the spread of disease and work hard to keep our animals healthy, happy, and clean (don't worry - we will provide all the necessary training, PPE, and everything else needed to keep you healthy, happy, and clean too!).
KEY DUTIES INCLUDE
- Cleaning and disinfecting identified areas, including disinfecting cages, kennels, runs, litter boxes, etc., of the animal centre
- Perform laundry tasks, folding, sorting, and storing.
- Wash dishes, toys, bottles, bowls, leashes and collars
- Assist with stacking and storing deliveries, such as food and litter

POSITION REQUIRMENTS
- 15 years of age or older
- Able to commit to at least 1 shift (2-3 hours) per week for a minimum of 4 months, and comfortable on your feet for up to 3 hours
- Ability to use an app or website to manage your volunteer experience and log your volunteer hours
- Ability to follow all biosecurity protocols, including wearing PPE (i.e., gloves, gowns, masks, etc.), as required
