Positive Impact St. Pete Food Bank
Major Objective: The objective of our Positive Impact Food Bank Volunteer is to help distribute pet food to those in need out of the Positive Impact St. Pete Food Pantry.
Qualifications: Must be at least 16 years old
Knowledge of standard SPCA Tampa Bay policies and procedures
Ability to work in the outside elements.
Ability to communicate & work well with the public, staff, and other volunteers.
Ability to work with limited supervision.
Pay a nonrefundable amount of $10 for volunteer gear.
Responsibilities: Set up food bank table and supplies at Positive Impact St. Pete.
Distribute pet food to families in need at the food bank.
Communicate with SPCA Tampa Bay staff as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe environment at all times.
Professionally represent SPCA Tampa Bay at all times.
Training: Complete telephone meet and greet with Volunteer Manager
Complete onsite training with Mission Programs Team
Physical
Demands: Carry, kneel, bend, push and pull
Walk and stand for prolonged periods
Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds
Time Commitment: 1 shift per month
Fourth Saturday of the month from 8:30am to 12:30pm
