How You Will Make a Difference 

Assist library customers with basic to advanced computer skills from creating an e-mail, resume writing, saving, attaching files, filling out applications and searching the Internet.

Volunteers are needed to: 

  • Work individually with patrons at the library  
  • Keep to a consistent schedule  
  • Communicate with library staff  

Commitment/Schedule 

  • 6 months minimum   
  • Availability is up for discussion  

Prospective volunteers should: 

  • Adept in Microsoft Office, internet, & email 
  • Strong digital literacy & technological skills 
  • Respectful & considerate of individual learning styles, levels, & needs 


Fingerprint clearance required for volunteers 18 or over. 

Qualifications Required

  • Age Must be at least 18+
  • Oral and written communication skills in English Must be at least High
  • Skilled in basic internet, email, and Microsoft Office Must be Yes
  • Online Orientation for On-site Volunteers Completed Must be Yes
