Programmatic - Computer Coding Leader

Looking for dedicated volunteers to plan a curriculum and teach computer coding, AI, or other related skills to younger children. Help local students achieve academic success, and introduce them into the fields of computers and technology. Fingerprint clearance required for volunteers 18 or over.

Brief Summary of Activity

  • Lead or assist with a library-based coding program for kids, teens, or adults.
  • Guide participants through basic computer programming concepts using beginner-friendly tools.

Typical Day/ Task

  • Prepare lesson materials or set up computers before sessions.

  • Answer questions and provide one-on-one support.
  • Collaborate with library staff to plan engaging weekly topics.
  • Track attendance and progress for library records.

Commitment/ Schedule
