Prosiect partneriaeth arloesol sy'n digwydd ledled coedwigoedd derw dalgylch aber Mawddach

Gweithgareddau gwirfoddol cyffrous gan gynnwys plannu coed, rheoli coetiroedd, rheoli rhywogaethau ymledol a llawer mwy!

Mae'r prosiect hwn yn cael ei gydlynu gan yr RSPB ac yn cael ei ariannu gan Gynllun Tirwedd Coedwig Genedlaethol Cymru. Bydd y prosiect cydweithredol hwn gyda naw sefydliad partner yn canolbwyntio ar wella cyflwr safleoedd coetir a datblygu cynllun rheoli coetir ledled dalgylch yr afon Mawddach. Bydd gwaith ein gwirfoddolwyr yn bwydo i mewn i hyn.

Mawddach Woodlands: Sustainable Stewardship in the Mawddach Catchment

An innovative partnership project taking place across the oak woods of the Mawddach estuary catchment
Exciting volunteer activities including tree planting, woodland management, invasive species control and much more!

This project is coordinated by the RSPB and funded by the National Forest for Wales Landscape Scheme.  This collaborative project with nine partner organisations will focus on improving the condition of woodland sites and developing a catchment wide woodland management plan for the Mawddach, which the work of our volunteers will feed into. 

Dwylo Diwyd

Dyma ein prosiect sydd wedi rhedeg hiraf, gan gyfrannu at raglenni hanfodol o waith hirdymor ar draws Eryri. Rydym yn gweithio gyda sefydliadau partner i nodi ac ymateb i anghenion y Parc Cenedlaethol gan gyflawni gwaith gan gynnwys adfer mawndiroedd, clirio conwydd ac adeiladu llwybrau troed. Mae llawer o’n gwaith yn cynnwys gwella’n ymarferol ac mae ein rhaglen hyfforddi yn helpu i ysbrydoli ac ychwanegu at wybodaeth pobl a’u gwerthfawrogiad o Eryri, ei threftadaeth, ei chynefinoedd a’i bywyd gwyllt.

Helping Hands

This is our longest running project, contributing to essential programmes of long-term work across Eryri. We work with partner organisations to identify and respond to the needs of the National Park carrying out work including peatland restoration, conifer clearance and footpath building. Much of our work involves bringing positive change, and and enriching people’s knowledge and appreciation of Snowdonia, it’s heritage, habitats and wildlife.

Rhywogaethau ymledol

Mae rhywogaethau estron ymledol (INNS) yn un o'r heriau mwyaf sy'n wynebu Eryri. Gall effaith INNS fod yn eang, gan gynnwys trechu rhywogaethau brodorol, gadael glannau afonydd yn noeth ac yn agored i erydiad a chyfrannu at sychu safleoedd gwlyptir pwysig. Dim ond cynyddu fydd eu bygythiadau yn y blynyddoedd i ddod, wrth i effeithiau newid hinsawdd barhau i frathu a chynyddu o ran difrifoldeb. Mae angen gweithredu rŵan – ac mae angen eich help chi arnom!

Invasive species

Invasive Non-Native species (INNS) are one of the biggest challenges facing Eryri. The impact of INNS can be wide-ranging, including outcompeting native species, leaving riverbanks bare and prone to erosion and contributing to the drying out of important wetland sites. Their threats will only increase in the coming years, as the effects of climate change continue to take hold and grow in severity. Action is needed now – and we need your help!
