Special Events - 2026 Parks Day
Volunteers needed!
2026 Parks Day - Saturday 18th July - Boulton Creek Day Use area - Peter Lougheed Provincial Park
Parks Day celebrates Alberta Parks with different exhibitors including: Alberta Parks, Guided Walks, Wildlife Ambassadors, Kananaskis Fire Rescue, Park Rangers and more. Cake is served! The Parks Intrepretive Team will putting on performances throughout the event.
FKC needs volunteers to help support Parks Day! Shifts will be for a variety of activities and will be assigned once the sign up closes. We are looking for volunteer help for:
- FKC greeting / info booth (up to 4 volunteers)
- Tattoo station (up to 4 volunteers)
- Button making station (up to 4 volunteers)
- ** SIGN UP CLOSES Thursday 16th July

Volunteer requirement is 11.30am - 3.30pm
Volunteer Shifts: Shift 1 from 11:30 to 1:30 pm, Shift 2 from 1:30 to 3:30 pm. 8 Volunteers needed for each shift.
