34th Space Symposium - Entry Control Support Command Post

  • Very effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Have a very strong sense of situational awareness and professional care for environment
  • Commit to PRE-SYMPOSIUM Training at a later to be determined date
  • Willing and able to follow direction easily and precisely

This area will Support in the Following Ways:

  • Monitor all radios and ensure they are being utilized properly and charged when not in use
  • Support the development of the entry control support volunteer teams as volunteers arrive and sign in for their shifts
  • Work with the entry control support team leads to ensure proper coverage of all symposium activity that has a entry control requirement
  • Follow all legal and ethical and professional direction from Space Foundation team and volunteer leads for this area
  • This area will be helping in a variety of ways to ensure the efficiency of this area for all involved

Please NOTE: The shifts have a 30 minute window built in at the beginning of each shift which allows for time for volunteers to arrive at the World Arena Parking area to park their car and then ride the Broadmoor shuttle over to the Symposium. Once at the Symposium, located at The Broadmoor, volunteers in this area will go to the command post to obtain their volunteer badge and any materials needed for their shift. They will then begin their shift in the Command Post.
