33rd Space Symposium

The 33rd Space Symposium, that will be held at The Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs, Colorado, April 3 - 6, 2017, has brought together space leaders from around the world to discuss, address and dream about the future of space since the inaugural symposium in 1984.

Attendees at that original event numbered barely 250 space enthusiasts, while participants at last year’s 32nd Space Symposium surpassed 7,000. The Space Symposium has become widely known as the premier U.S. space policy and program forum and as the "must attend" opportunity for information on and interaction among all sectors of space.

Called the National Space Symposium for the first 29 years, the event has been renamed Space Symposium to reflect the event's truly global profile and international outreach.  We look forward to and appreciate your interest in volunteering with the Space Foundation at the 33rd Space Symposium.

Space Foundation Discovery Center

The Space Foundation Discovery Center comprises the El Pomar Space Gallery, as well as the Northrop Grumman Science Center, the AGI Space Missions Simulation Laboratory, Mars Robotics Laboratory and the Lockheed Martin Education Activity Center. We are excited to have our very own Science On a Sphere® educational tool, and our exhibit in the El Pomar Space Gallery being 'Launch to the Moon'. We will need docent/tour guides, activity support, safety and light security, and other volunteer positions to support our visitors and groups into the Discovery Center involving both students and public visitors of all ages.
