Senior Center Ambassador: Greeter & Tour Guide
Ambassadors help the Senior Center further the Iowa City Senior Center’s mission and vision by helping to provide information about the Senior Center in the community.
Greeters & Tour Guides welcome community members as they come into the building, offer help in locating information and navigating the building, and give tours of the building. Volunteers can schedule shifts during the Senior Center’s open hours. Volunteers are asked to commit to one, 2 hour shift each week and for a minimum of 4 months. Training is provided and takes approximately 1-2 hours.
